Makrana marble is composed of calcium carbonate and is quite different from other marbles in its chemical nature. The chemical structure of Makrana marble is perfectly blended, which makes it so strong that it is hard to carve it with a chisel. The best part of makrana marble is that it stays white for ever and never gets yellow. It is much harder than other marbles and thus has a long life.
